Le Quest at Bukit Batok registered strong sales during preview

On Saturday, 5th of August, the residential units in the Le Quest, which is located at Bukit Batok was launched for sales. There was a strong interest for the Le Quest units amongst the home owners and investors.

The people were so much interested in purchasing units at the Le Quest that on the first day itself 280 units an automatically sold. There are total 516 units in the Le Quest and the sales recorded at 54 percent. Interestingly, only 200 units were actually launched for sale.

The average selling price for the units was $1,280 psf. That is according to Qingjian Realty,  the property developer.

The most popular units amongst the buyers were the units ranging from 431 sq ft to around 1,206 sq ft in size and consisting of 1-3 bedrooms and a  studio. The Le Quest also has 4-bedrooms units that are between 1,130-1,528 square feet.

The Le Quest is a mixed-use development. Upon completion, the Le Quest will have more than 64,583 sq ft of the commercial area comprising retail units and F&B outlets.

One of its initial home buyers to acquire a unit at the Le Quest was 26 years old Chen Si. “I will be moving into Le Quest along with my beloved parents. One of the major attractions of living at Le Quest is other new developments such as Tengah and the famous Jurong Lake District nearby. The price for the units at Le Quest is also very reasonable in regard to the convenience available, we have everything that we need.”

William Yeo, aged 37 years, is also another buyer for the unit at Le Quest. “I am an auditor living in Vietnam. I arrived here since two weeks in order to see Le Quest, I just loved the residential development. I will be staying here with my immediate family. I wanted a home as well as a unit  that has the potential for high growth.”

The overwhelming response from the buyers did not surprise the property analysts.

“There will be no new developments around the area anytime soon. This is the major attraction of Le Quest,” shared by Alan Cheong, who happens to be a Research and  Consultancy director at Savills.

According to CEO of PropNex Realty, Mohamed Ismail, the location is a major attraction. Bukit Batok is a great location, which seems to be attracting a lot of buyers. The proximity for new development such as the High-Speed Rail Terminus, Singapore-KL which is another major attraction. The renovation of the area through the Master Plan of the Urban Redevelopment Authority is also a sale driving factor for Le Quest.

“The second phase of the unit sales at Le Quest will be aired shortly,” Qingjian stated.  The Le Quest, which is a  leasehold of 99-year  property, will be completed in 2021.
